PRCC has re-opened at 102 Bishop Street! Community and connection is at the heart of what we do, and of all our own personal recovery journeys. We are still here for you on your recovery journey. PRCC and recovery community centers around the state of Maine are offering services and support virtually and in-person, which include but are not limited to daily meetings for multiple paths of recovery, telephone recovery support, recovery coaching, yoga, reiki, EFT tapping, and social media connection.
We continue to offer our completely free services virtually and in-person, including recovery coaching, telephone recovery support (TRS), and meetings. To sign up for recovery coaching or TRS, please email Kim Capone-Sprague or call 207-553-2575.
Virtual support and online resources are available locally, statewide and nationally. Contact a recovery community center near you for more information. Find contact information at the Maine Recovery Hub.

Recovery Coaching helps individuals in recovery identify their own unique pathways to a joyful life. Recovery Coaches provide a framework for setting goals and looking at all areas of life that are important to the recovering person. They help with identifying and obtaining community-based services and resources.
PRCC Recovery Coaches promote recovery, remove barriers, build recovery capital, and connect recoverees with recovery support. Recovery coaches are not therapists, counselors, clinicians, clergy or 12 step sponsors. They occupy a very unique and distinct lane on the recovery highway.
Recovery coaching at Portland Recovery Community Center is provided by trained recovery coaches, FREE of charge. Anyone who is seeking to initiate or sustain their recovery is welcome. All Recovery Coaches have completed a minimum of 30 hours of Recovery Academy Certified Training.
Sign-up for Recovery Coaching in the Portland area by calling 207-553-2575 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
