Each September, National Recovery Month shines a light on the emergence of a strong and proud recovery community. We celebrate our community, which includes our members, service providers, recovery residences, treatment partners, and allies who make recovery in all its forms possible.

Recovery month is celebrated in communities across Maine to inspire hope and express gratitude. Recovery Month makes visible that over 26 million people in the United States have recovered from Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

Recovery is for everyone because it benefits everyone. In recovery, we build new connections to ourselves, our families, and our communities.

Rally 4 Recovery

This year’s Rally 4 Recovery is on September 10th, 12-4pm at PRCC’s new home, 102 Bishop Street Portland, Maine.

As PRCC marks 10 years of serving Maine’s recovery community, please join us for a unique edition of the Rally 4 Recovery, in which we will celebrate Recovery Month as well as host a grand opening of our newly renovated center.

This year, in addition to our usual festivities of music, speakers, food trucks, family activities, recovery resources and more, we will be celebrating PRCC’s 10 year anniversary as well as doing an official ribbon cutting ceremony of our new home.

This is a great event organized by people in recovery, allies, friends, and families.
