Building Hope & Creating Community
The double meaning of a Community Building is exactly what our capital campaign is all about; a chance to refurbish and sustain a community building, a place where recovery is supported and celebrated daily.
With more than 6,600 square feet of meeting spaces, and 1.25 acres for gardens and green space along with ample parking, 102 Bishop Street in Portland is located on public transit and has capacity to host the thousands of people who regularly participate in volunteer peer recovery support services. No community builds alone, but together we are establishing this vision for generations to come.
On a beautiful, warm September day, PRCC celebrated the Grand Opening of our new building at 102 Bishop Street with a wonderful ribbon cutting ceremony as part of our annual Rally 4 Recovery. We were so pleased to announce that our total campaign money raised to date was $1.48 million dollars and as of today, we have hit the $1.6 million dollar mark! We could not have reached this major milestone without your support! If you were unable to join our celebration that day, we hope you will take a minute to watch this video.
We have entered the public phase of this campaign and there is still much work to be done to reach our goal of $2.2 million. Help us get there!
